My daughter has given my wife and I our first grand child, its been a challenging last few weeks, besides my daughter living 1000kms away, she had a very difficult birth, the baby was fine but my daughter was quite traumatised by the birth.

At last she and the baby have been allowed to come home after 10days in the hospital and the wife and I will be able to get back home after 3 weeks away, What a relief

When the first baby laughed for the first time,
the laugh broke into a thousand pieces and they all went skipping about,
and that was the beginning of fairies.

Congratulations, Clarky.
Hopefully the house is crowded with fairies.

Thanks all for the kind words.

Mother and baby are doing well, grandma and grandpa are exhausted

If I ever see the inside of another hospital, it will be too soon.
Do hospitals deliberately go out too find the most uncomfortable seats they can find : and do they intentionally set the air-con to -20c in an effort to keep visitors to a minimum :

Glad to be home

Congratulations!! Lovely photograph as well. Over here hospitals are kept to a mandatory 40c, so I suppose globally it cancels out...

Best wishes

Clarky, give it back as soon as possible, you know it makes sense.

Congratulations on the start of a new chapter in your lives and even more excuse to get the camera out.

Congratulations Clarky.

Glad to here both are doing well

I think I should start a poll titled "How long do you think it will be before Clarky pushs his macro set up in front of his grand daughter"
