Hi All,

Been browing the site recently whilst looking into a DSLR purchase, thanks for all the info.

I have just picked up a K-m "kit" with DA 18-55 and 50-200 lenses.

Was a mad keen aviation enthusiast as a younger man and used a couple of MX's with a variety of SMC M lenses. Never had a problem with them and they saw a fair amount of travel and use, whilst they have not been used in anger for a number of years I never had, and still don't any intention of letting them go. My Dad has a LX too.

Anyway, interest in getting a DSLR has returned and I am about to start to try and get the best out of the K-m - I may have some questions

Hi and welcome to the forum - that's quite a nice arsenal of lenses you have there, the K-m must look like a lenscap with the 400-600 stuck on the front of it!
