Welcome HeavyD, there are some who use the Samsung on the forum and the Samsung looks like the Pentax so you feel right at home here

It was like that with me and riflescopes...only use Nikon....but can't work out why I didn't try Pentax riflescopes....guess it's a marketing thing.

Robin, Im not into that kind of thing so Im surprised that even Nikon are in that market. I guess it makes sense when you think out the optics side. Bit like GE making home appliances and jet engines.

Been into photography for a few years now but only got my first DSLR last september. Its a GX20. Its interesting to see how many Samsung users there are on here. It hasnt really caught on yet in Australia. I guess people think Samsung and cameras dont really go together. A friend of mine is a sales executive for Samsung and I borrowed his kit some 12 months ago and instantly loved it and how it felt. My kit is very basic at the moment but Im slowly adding to it, Hoping to add the 16-50 and 50-135 in the next 6-12 months. See you around
