Lilly,
you cant "paste" an image into your posts, you need to upload your images somewhere else then provide a "link"
I use http://photobucket.com/ its totally free and you can link to images posted there.
No doubt forum veterans will explain it in more detail.

I found another on-line 'camera club' site which allows it; PhotoGalaxy.com. There is a 'photohosting' box which comes up when you want to add pics saved in your computer and I found you have to 'upload' then click on the BB Forum technical words, they go blue, then you press 'copy', then you minimise that box and press 'paste' into the Pentax new topic box and all the computer-speak words appear as if by magic, then when you press 'preview' the picture appears with your caption. ( You have to run the Pentax forum at the SAME TIME as you are running the PhotoHosting box.)

Joshua has his own website and linked to that.Oh., how did Joshua Hakin from Cananda do his on " A couple of pics" then?
Photobucket is easy to use and easy to link. Not all photo hosting websites allow linking. If you have our own website you can always upload your photos to that and then link them, but Photobucket is so easy I tend to use it for photos linked to forums, saving my website for personal photos.

Scuse me for being a bit simple but have difficulty in pasting an image up on the forum.
Have done the usual right click 'copy' then try to paste and paste is disabled on my mouse and does not allow me to do it. Is it me, pc or am I missing a step, HELP...need to expose some of my K10D pics [/img]
I started using pbase www.pbase.com for exactly this and had the same question around xmas. Have a look at the thread "who needs 5x4..." in the med format forum on here where Liam and Kim explain to me how to do it...Scuse me for being a bit simple but have difficulty in pasting an image up on the forum.
