How much dust is too much?

I often sell lenses on ebay and would not think that lens acceptable, unless described as dusty. Send it back, you should get the price and the outbound postage back within the ebay terms, the return postage you must pay.

got a couple of spots in my richonen f2 50mm but it works ok and very clear, seems to be quite a few on yours, hope you can see past them and find many great shots with it, if not i'm sure you will get a refund

A thought is that the seller bought it cheaply because it was full of fungus and did a quick and dirty(!) cleaning job then sold it on at a tidy profit.

hehe looks like it eh ? No, it was sent rattling loose in its original hard case. The glue under the bottom lining had turned to dust. Cleaned up beautifully.Wow where were they keeping that?
