How do you hold a camera? (maybe silly question)

D'you know..I never thought about which eye I use until I read this. I am right handed but left eyed, with a camera, but right eyed with my bow
I tend to hold the camera right hand down, but that is because I tend to have a hat on and right hand up knocks my hat off

I write left-handed, shoot a rifle left-handed, shoot a bow right-handed, throw right-handed, kick right-footed, play golf and cricket right-handed, but I wish someone would make a camera with the button on the left-hand side !!
K10D. Tamron 18-250 F3.5/6.3, P-KA 50mm 1.4, Takumar-A 28-80mm F3.5/4.5, Vivitar 70-300mm F4.2/5.8, Teleplus MC-7 2x converter and some Cokin stuff. Also Optio E80(coz I've got big fingers!), Pentax A3 and Chinon CP-7m.

The older Pentax manuals (e.g. ME Super manual p. 26, ES manual p. 18 ) carried pictures of how to hold your camera, and provided both left hand and right hand over options for portrait orientation shots. I always use the right hand over option leaving my index finger free to adjust the shutter speed on the ME Super via the little buttons.
