I like this, it's dark, moody and a magnificent landscape.

Yes, really good! Great deep tones, high contrast, lots to take in. Is there another one with a bit more to the right side ... This looks a little cut off on the right edge .....

This is almost the whole frame. A tiny bit lost when getting the horizon straight. It was very, very windy and about -2C. K.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I prefer the second version Kris, posted in answer to Nigel's suggestion. It balances more comfortably and it gives the foreground more room to breath.
But either way its a superb black and white landscape, full of interest and artistic appeal.

I also prefer the second one, it is absolutely superb. The first is great too, but as David says it doesn't have the same balance as the second does.

Like them both, if I had to choose it would be No1, I prefer the closer detail.

Gosh... What a place... No 2 for me... Provides the full context... Either way, very well composed and taken...

Hertfordshire,
mostly.
Although the Lofotens are quite mountainous, Hoven is a little isolated on the northern edge of the island of Grimsoy.
