Hot pixels on K20D

There is a firmware coming soon to fix up hot pixels issue on K20D. Note that the problem is only apparent with 2 sec. delay timer.http://pentaxlife.com/pentax-k20d-hot-pixels-problem-confirmed

I have a K20. In the link it states that the new firmware can be downloaded in the usual SD way. I have never done this before so if a new firmware is isued, how do you get it and how do you load it .

A download will be on a Pentax website. Instructions will be included.

Download the software to the card, fit a fully-charged battery in camera, put card in camera, turn on camera while holding a combination of buttons as described in the instructions, camera will update itself.
