We've just spent a week in Normandy, near to Honfleur. We paid a visit to the town on market day.
I couldn't take as many shots as I'd have liked as the family were with me, but here are some "candids" I took.
C&C please.

Getting there! Thanks to you guys

Pentax K10d, *istDL, Kit lens ( 18-55mm ), 50mm f1.7 lens, Tamron 70-300mm lens, Prinzflex 70-162 manual lens, Various old flashes.

Not from the guy in number 2, but we did buy some when we were there.

Been twice and love the place, although it's never without incident. The first time we got heavily rained on and wet home dripping.
This time I got food poisoning

I like the shots - each one seems to give a feel for the place - I say this but I have never been there so it is a guess
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

I am not so keen on #2, but I really like the other 3. I think they would work very well in mono, especially 1&3

The last time we were in Honfleur, Belinda B. got food poisoning

Back to photography, I think that No. 2 needs a sizeable crop, but I like the others.

I hadn't thought of mono, but I'll have a look.
Crop number 2, just to keep the top right 1/3(ish)?

I really love the expression of the guy in #1 - for me that's a great catch. But there's quite a bit going on colour and shape wise in the background which is just slightly distracting. Maybe worth trying mono like Aliengrove suggests or similar to try to tone this down and keep attention on the geezer.

I know that family vs photos feeling all too well
