high iso b&w

I took this last summer, halfway hanging out of the car, set to super-high iso in order to get the fastest possible shutter speed. The color version is terrible. How about the b&w? (and I'm not even sure it's a good picture in the first place, but I kinda like it)

That's great, dynamic shot and the only troublesome artifacts are from the JPEG. The ISO noise is fine.
I like it despite the expanse of grey. It looks like a fun shot - maybe because of the car window.

Pentax K10d, *istDL, Kit lens ( 18-55mm ), 50mm f1.7 lens, Tamron 70-300mm lens, Prinzflex 70-162 manual lens, Various old flashes.

Then, for you, it's a good picture. The qualification is that you have an opinion, don't be afraid, or reluctant, to voice it.

The photo reminds me of the sort of shot you'd see in a arty road trip book, and I like it for that. Darkmunk's right about the jpeg artifacts, re-save it at a higher jpeg quality setting and see how it looks. If you can do something to tone down the white building top-right, that would improve it for me too.

K-3, a macro lens and a DA*300mm...

Looks like something from a David Lynch film. I like it a lot. I love the route of the solid white line, and the distortion of the buildings so you can't tell what they are. Without the car window on the left it doesn't work, the car makes the picture complete.Composotion/crop is also spot on (for me anyway).
Great shot, well done!

I like it because it gives a real sense of speed. And nice composition considering it was taken out a car window!
