Thanks for the comments on the portfolio. I have recently seriously trimmed down the number of images on my site (attempting to go further with this), which keeps it manageable for viewing.

I have a passion for street photography, for which the K-7 is a top DSLR. Previously I had the K10D - very capable camera body also. My other main interest is photojournalism, with maybe a little nature for good measure. I follow Nat Geo, but you can't beat VII and Magnum!
Am also building up my own little photography library, as I like to study great photographers' work. Have books by Capa, Nachtwey, Cartier-Bresson, Haas, Doisneau, Adams etc etc. Mostly prefer black and white work, but am not averse to colour. McCurry comes to mind as a great colour photographer.
I have a small portfolio website you may wish to have a look at. I like to follow it on google analytics. So far there's been 30,000 pages viewed from 59 countries in the 4 months since the site went up. The latest country addition was just today - Iraq! If you're interested, I also have a facebook page where I link interesting photography finds, news, and my own work as well.
