Hello Tony, welcome.
Try looking at the EAF website for your local club(s). www.eafphotoclubs.co.uk I'm sure you'll find one near you, go along for a couple of visits to see what you think, that's what I did and I enjoy it immensely

Depends what part of Essex Tony's from, but there are several around this way - Brentwood (where you'll find a certain Peter Elgar ), Basildon, Upminster, Ingatestone, Stock, Chelmsford...
Not that I'm a member of any of them.

Essex
Just thought I would introduce myself.
Have just upgraded from a Compact Digital to my 1st DSLR and trying to get used to using the Camera.
Have purchased a K-m with the twin Lens outfit and also just purchased a Sigma 105mm Macro lens.
I find Macro photography to be very intresting, althou not finding it as easy as I first thought.
Would be intrested in hearing from anyone who know's of a good Club in Essex where I can get some good tips/hints on how to start using my camera.
Have posted my 1st picture on here and would love to get some feedback from all you photographers on here.
Look forward to hearing back from you all.
