Hi folks - just joined up with a tech question after buying K2000 to try out this week. Complete with kit 18-55 and 50-200 lenses. Also have 35mm film MX/ME/K2 which I've had for decades and occasionally reuse, but digital has really killed that game off for me. The film cameras are all built like tanks compared to the K2000 setup though

Decent selection of K mount lenses which I'll experiment with on the digital body< but I suspect I'm going to declare all the film kit surplus to requirements soon, perhaps apart from a few key items......we'll see.

Hi Iain, welcome to the Forum. Don't write off your old lenses just yet, they will work fine on your K2000, albeit you'll have no AF and some will have no auto aperture.

Hi Iain... Delve into the K2000's menu system and set 'Allow Aperture Ring' and any K-mount lenses without an 'A' setting should work beautifully... Those lenses with 'A' settings on their aperture rings should work great (aperture being controlled via the K2000) already!

Welcome to the forum and... What have you got? What have you got? What have you got? What have you got? What have you got? What have you got? What have you got?????
