Sorry Suzzy I am not trying to be harsh but you have asked us what we think and I have to be honest and say they are not great - although the 4th one is quite amusing.
You seem to be under exposing and struggling with focus in several of them and the composition needs work
More practice required I think

No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

The 4th is the best of the bunch in my opinion...

no 4 and 6 is my favourite, like the sun cast at the cathedral and the man riding is the train is very interesting, good composition.
the 2nd shoot maybe you are facing the light so the building is underexposed. the other one is okay for me, although I dont get your point in the first picture
cheers

Yes number four is my favorite, I love it but it needs a crop and a bit of uprighting, the man with the lovely smile needs to be the most important thing in my view . Suzanne would you mind if I tweaked it a bit..jeff..

What do you mean by underexposing ?

I think the sharpening seems to have distorted it slightly. I also dont understand the cropping

IMHO the other elements in the picture , took your eye away from the best bits the guy on his train having a great time , so you can crop all that out or re shoot with a shallower DOF and leave them out of focus ... ( not really possible )
But in PP If you still have the RAW file you maybe you can have a go at that . It's a nice image with a kind of retro feel IMHO

PP stands for post production .. ie any form of manipulation after taking the photo , or shooting the film ,or recording the music , etc..etc..etc..jeff...
