Help with Lens - Tokina (non Pentax)

I have the Pentax mount version of this and it is a very nicely made lens compared with modern ones. I tried selling mine ebay but there was no interest at £20-30. We had a bit of a discussion here:

If yours is a Minolta fit it may fit a Sony DSLR, but I'm not absolutely certain.

It may be worth selling it on to a Sony user if it will fit (should be easy to check)
I have a Tokina RMC 300mm f5.5 in m42 mount and I really like it but whilst I have no experience of the 200mm listed above the old Tkina prime lenses seem to be well regarded

OK this might seem like a really dumb question to those in the know, but I am still learning and haven't got my head round what lens even does what yet, so please bear this in mind
A well meaning relative picked me up this lens today (not realising that cameras have different mounts, see even dafter than me, runs in the family hehe!) and this is apparently a minolta mount according to the end cap fitted. The lens was labelled as a 8-100mm but I am sure that isn't right at all. I think its a prime lens, on the end it says RMC Tokina 200mm (see, I am a bit clever eh, I can read!?)
My question is, can anyone confirm what it is please, and is it worth selling on. Obviously if I am going to sell it, I don't want to look a total lemon by trying to sell it as something it isn't.
Couple of pics if it helps anyone, it seems to be in lovely condition except one small scratch on the lens.
