Help K5 4 Way Controller not working

I went out today to take a few pics. Took one picture then put it on a tripod. Used the 4 way controller and set to bracket and took 1 set of 3 pictures, then set 4 way controller to timer. Timer leds flashing but takes a picture imediately when shutter pressed, leds stay flashing . Tried to check my settings in case I had pressed remote control by mistake and cannot get the 4 way controller to work - none of the buttons work and leds keep flashing.

Took battery out for several mins, put a different SD card in, did factory reset and leds no longer flash. 4 way controller still not working.

Any ideas

Actually the 4 way controller does work when in the menu or info modes, just not to get drive mode, flash mode,white balance, custom image.

Whoopee.

I have been worried in case I needed to send it it away for repair, after further playing with it I have sorted it.

I must have moved the AF switch from centre spot to SEL and my pressing of various buttons on the controller was actually moving the focus spot.


Such a silly error but very relieved
