Hello World

Hi all, Long time lurker here.
Started my adventures with a K100D several years ago. Updated to a K-r just before Christmas.

Welcome friend and congrats on the new gear, hope to see some shot's from the new kit.

Thanks for the welcome, the K-r is a big step up from the K100D.
Also managed to get a DA 16-45 f4 cheap about a month or so back, only problem with it is I now want to replace my other lens with ones of a similar calibre! DA* 50-135 ordered today.

I intend to put the K100D in the glove box with the kit lens and a Tamron 70-300 so I always have a camera where ever I am, even if I have not planned on taking some shots. Need to find a replacement for the 70-300 first though.

I was in the local camera club before moving with my job, and the Camera realy didn't get that much use for about two years after that. I should look up the local club to me. The 50-135 is intended to help get the shutter speed up and iso down with these kind of shots

Will also look to be replacing the long lens with a 55-300 and a long prime or a DA* 60-250 when funds allow.

Depending on where in the world you park your car, keep an eye on the warmer weather... Gloveboxes can quickly turn into an oven in direct sun, even when outside temperatures stay bearable. Cooked lenses and camera bodies probably wouldn't look good on the menu - even with sauce!
