Thanks to all.
Tom my dog is a border collie. I am working on him at this time, to ease him away from three years of trauma. I took him because he was going to be shot, he had been ruined by 3 yrs of abuse.

I also sculpt, so I go further back than Pentax.
I was using an ax before the Japanese used pent.
My first slr, a Pentax was bought in Aden in 1960 and since then I upgraded regularly. My Spotmatic died in 1997, when I left it out in a tropical storm in Australia. I have a film still in my sv 1962 from pre dslr days. I will take it in on Monday to see what I have on it, if anything.

I live in Shetland
My camera life started about 50yrs ago with a Pentax and I have stuck with them ever since. I still have an Sv,a P30 and various lenses, both m42 & k fit. I also have an old Pentax exposure metre that fits on the prism and a euromaster V.
I have also decided that I will be using both film and digital.
I will always be pleased to hear from people.
