Hi everyone. I recently bought my first DSLR, a K5 IIs. Everyone seemed to be advising me to get a Canon or a Nikon but ultimately I've ended up a proud owner of a Pentax. I think this was partly due to a very enthusiastic individual that I saw on YouTube comparing a K3's images favourably to a rival brand full frame DSLR. I think he is called photo universe or something on YouTube. And it seemed a common sense choice to me when comparing a Pentax with rival brands in the same price range. So the plan was to save up for a K3 until I saw an offer I couldn't resist on the K5 IIs. And now that I'm getting used to my camera I can't wait for the weather to improve so I can get out more and use some of these used lenses I've been collecting from Ebay and pawn shops!

I'm sure you'll have a great time with the K-5 IIs, it's a brilliant camera.
Best regards, John

Thanks, guys. I'm in the south, Llanelli, plenty of castles, coastline and mountains, just need some better weather, my Pentax may be weatherproof but my bones really feel the chill!

It was a bit of a sickener with the result and my cameras didn't get out of the bag until the journey home partly due to the weather on Sunday but more to to with the hangovers

I did however get some photo's of my lad with some of the players before the game only smart phone pics though you

Sounds like you could have a meet up with Stuey on one of his forays into your part of the country!
