Hi folks,
Thanks for a great forum. I've been lurking for about a year and thought it was about time I joined.
Moved to Pentax when my Ni*on FE shutter started jamming once or twice per roll of film, I've had it since the early '80s, pre AF, program mode etc, so digital has been a REALLY steep learning curve! (accidentally having WB set to "tungsten" when photographing sunsets etc).
The onboard OIS and weatherproofing swung it along with my Adaptall lenses for which I still had the 42mm adapters from my Zenit days.
Happy snapping.

Welcome to the forum. WB set inappropriately for the scene is no problem at all if you shoot RAW, you can change it later.

"Somewhere in Devon", are you not sure where you are? Shall we send a search party?.

Hi
I'm in Devon too, do you know where in Devon you are from?? I'm in the North between Bideford and Bude.
There seems to be a few Devonians on here, maybe we can arrange a meet!!

Thanks for the welcomes everyone.

I tend to be a shy introveted type and use photography as an excuse for escaping people (if you're behind the camera you're not in front of it!), hence the vague "somewhere in Devon"
