Welcome to another new member. I have only been here for a week myself, but have learned so much I can't describe it. Wonderful, helpful people here, always ready to assist. Congrats' by the way on your purchase. Excellent camera!! I am more than happy with my PENTAX gear. Do post some pictures, we all learn from each other.

Just upgraded from a Canon G10 after spending many hours researching and visiting various photography outlets. Not having any dedicated DSLR equipment (lenses/flash guns etc) meant I could try several cameras within my budget and without bias. Consequently I have purchased a K-7 twin lens kit and am now beginning to learn how to use it properly. I did not set out to buy a Pentax and had to go out of my way to try one, but I don't regret my decision for a minute this really is a fantastic camera and perfect for my needs
