Hi Felix, welcome to the forum
My wife is from Singapore and I visit often the lovely island.
K20 is a lovely camera, let's see some lovely shots of Sentosa island
Miss that to bits
Where about in Singapore are you? I know reasonably well the island

I live in the Delta/River Valley area. Close to Bukit Merah.
Sentosa is now too costly to visit as it is catering more to tourist than locals.

Thanks everyone for the nice an warm welcome. Will try to post shots that I have taken with the K20D and DA40mm F2.8 here. This is currently my main lens.

I too used to visit Sentosa - staying at the Rasa hotel. As I was working there, it did not cost anything to get onto the island. I can still call an old friend and meet them there for lunch.
And I still order my shirts from Singapore - Stitchwell in Lucky Plaza ... one call, and within 10 days they can be here in England.

Felix is my name and I hail from the island of Singapore. I was a former owner of the Z-20 AF SLR before deciding to jump into the DSLR wagon with a 2nd hand K10D in 2007.
Just last week, I got my K20D after seeing my friend with theirs and being teased for still having the K10D when almost everyone has gone the K20D route.
Here to share and learn more.
