just sticking my head round the door to say hi. joined today as i have just got a k-r and thought what a cracking piece of kit.had it a week and its knackered.switched it on today and it made a screaming noise and the screen went all stripy. switched it off and back on again and the flash dont work and it will not trigger the shutter unless i hold the pop up flash down it seems that the flash is not charging.also screen is doing some odd things wont let me enter the menu's some times and in video setting it just fires the shutter every ten secs or so. do you think it is dead?

back to jessops for refund ordered a new one from srs

ordered camera at 11.36 from srs and it was delivered this morning at 10.05. not bad going. better than the 6 days it took jessops to deliver the last one with their "next day delivery" . top marks.
