Dear PENTAX friends,

just to say hello as newly joining member
I'm living in Switzerland, at the lake of Zurich.

My connection to PENTAX goes back about a quarter of a century, when I got PENTAX LX, together with an underwater housing.
Due to various reasons, this relay top gear is not in use anymore, but I inherited a number of lenses.

Now I’m a (nearly !) happy owner of a K5, with a few new lenses (Pentax & Sigma) covering “everything” from 12 to 500 mm.

One of my “sorrows” is, that the video function has occasional “freezes”, meaning I can’t save the file (the camera simply stays frozen , in permanent Save-Mode , until I remove the battery).

..Well, I may just open a thread on this topic later on…

PS: I should add, that I'm a Digital new-comer, ...still kind of trapped in the old analogue & slides days....

Hello Urs, welcome to the site - it is good to have another member from outside of the UK. Living where you do we will expect to see lots of landscapes and shots of the lake, hope you get the K-5 sorted out pretty soon. I have had no problems with mine so far - fingers crossed!
