Just a quick hello before I go to work!.....I've had my Pentax k-x (white) a few days and haven't really had chance to do anything with it yet. I'm in the middle of an ncfe level 2 course in digital photography. I don't know if I'm any good, I just enjoy it!

This is my first SLR camera so I have a lot to learn! I did a lot of research before buying the k-x and hope I've made the right choice for the stage I'm at.

I look forward to chatting and learning from you all.

Beth

Welcome Beth - enjoying it is surely what we are all about ?

Everything else is learned either by asking,failing/succeeding,trial and error,or friendly advice.

I love my Pentaxes and I love the ability to capture whatever in the world is within my eyeline and interesting to me - if others approve I am doubly blessed.

Any questions this is the place to be.

Thanks for making me feel so welcome I think I need to stop reading about/buying lenses and actually get out there with my camera! My macro zoom lens arrived yesterday and it's sooo heavy!
If I can find a spiders web covered in raindrops and take a decent photo I will be very happy
