Hello, from sunny Vancouver

Hi everyone, I'm Kurt from Vancouver, on Canada's left coast. Just recently got the bug, although I've had a couple of oldish slrs around (a Canon AE-1 and a Canon EF-M) and also the good old Kodak instamatic. Anyway I recently bought a pentax auto 110 from one of our regulars at work, just cause it was kinda neat, and in researching it I got interested. Having kept ebay busy the last few days, I think it's time to move here. Cheers, Kurt

You wouldn't have a lot on me though because I'm from the new generation that skip film I'm afraid, pitty right.
That doesn't mean we can't talk though!

Please tell us a bit more about your treasure hunt on Ebay, any big catches?

I can't remember the lsst time we had a thread on Auto 110s. (Not that this is one, but I feel one coming up.)

I acquired a 110 from Ebay a while ago, but I've yet to get any pictures developed. Have you had much difficulty finding film, and places to process it?

George, the local drug store sells Kodak ultra 110 (400 asa). The expiry date is next year,and they're in the freezer now. I bought the four rolls they had and let them know that they were "out of 110". I'm going to look around for other sources, 100 would be nice. I haven't gotten to processing yet, although, if worse comes to worse, I could ship it south of here,to link. I am awaiting emails from a couple of local places, (and will ask at the store that sold the film to me) Cheers, Kurt

I have a 110 too but have to admit it hasn't been used in a long time. It did give suprisingly good results (by 110 standards) back in the day though!
