Hello - a brief introduction - having joined the forum almost a year ago, and just lurked since - I have been a Pentax SLR user for about 25 years, and a digital user for about two years - currently using a K200D although I am beginning to struggle with the rechargeable AA batteries - my previous digital was a second hand IstD that eventually died on me - but ran very well on lithium rechargeables. I'm now wondering whether to trade up to a K10D before they all vanish from SRS. I have varied photographic interests - when work and family commitments allow I'll try and post some pictures. Andrew

Welcome to the fora. I have been using the K10 with a battery grip with a second battery and often go for weeks without having to recharge them. Some of the other recommendations are, however, probably a cheaper way to go than buying a new camera!
