Here's the thing that's causing the crazy high temperatures across most of England and Wales at the moment. Assisted, of course, by a bit of man-made climate change and a big, static area of high pressure over continental Europe. Sunset shots are a staple at the moment as walking the dog has been moved to late evening for an obvious reason (plus a couple of non-obvious reasons).

K3iii + DA55-300mm.

Thoughts, comments etc. welcome as usual.

The Earth is a naturally carbon rich planet. Humans make no difference. The planet goes through phases of being hot and cold. Fact

Please keep comments in this 'Your Photos' thread to matters relating to the photograph itself.

Thanks

Lovely photo, I can feel the heat it's radiating, like it's a fire.

If that is true, you should not post comments also not related to why you took the photo!

Yes he did, claiming human life had caused global warming. Nothing to do with the photograph. The planet has been warmer than it is now. Fact.

OK folks, I did ask that comments in this 'Your Photos' thread should be on matters relating to the photograph itself. I am pleased that some folk enjoyed the photo and would have been pleased with any other comments on the photo, whether positive or negative. It is therefore disappointing that the thread has taken the direction it has. I am now going to ask a Moderator to lock this thread, which will unfortunately prevent any further comments on the photo itself .

Some subjects can be quite emotive so probably a good idea to put this one to bed now. The forecast is that tomorrow things will have cooled off...
Best regards, John
