HDR on K-x

I tried a shot with my K-x set for HDR capture. Result not up to much!. Camera on a tripod, but went for a timed shutter release and found it is not available in the settings whilst on HDR. Only option is instant release with consequential camera shake or use a remote control that I dont own. Cant understand why the timed option is not there. Can Anybody give me a reason why they would leave this from the options!

why not try doing it on your computer instead : use the remote to take 3 shots with the Exposure Bracking function, then run it through Photomatix...
