Yeah, it may just please Gary but only if he can have the 70-200 with it and they give it a focus system that goes down to EV -3, he Gigs in some pretty dark places it seems...
9 new Lenses, is a fair chunk, seems the beast has awoke! Hope they don't forget all about us poor APSC folks, like Nikon did!

Having just seen the prices of the new Canon DSLR and lens, I think the Pentax is sounding cheap!
Cheers Jules...

The K-5II/s and K-3 do so I would be very surprised if the next high spec body didn't.

Specs for the 150-450...

- Dust and water structure. 21 places in the entire ceiling
- Image circle covers the 35mm format
- Can be handheld shooting in a compact design
- HD coating
- Three ED lens, one abnormal low dispersion lens
- The latest optical design corresponding to the high pixel sensor
- Switch with quick shift focus system selector switch to "QFS / A", "QFS / M", "MF"
- "QFS / A" autofocus priority. "QFS / M" manual focus priority
- The set up four places AF button every 90 degrees to the lens barrel
- Focus preset mode for storing the focus position
- AF Cancel fixing force the focus position in the continuous AF
- Lens within the motor (DC motor)
- Zoom lock lever
- Circular aperture
- 3-stage focus limiter
- Lens front to the SP coating
- New development of removable tripod mount (Captive)
- Over-the-counter expected price is 275,000 yen (including tax)

150-450mm, there are AF button of four locations in the lens barrel, for example, can be carried out focus preset or Cancel AF, I seem to have become quite versatile lens. It is not a star lens, but because it is dust and water specifications, it is likely to be handled without problems in shooting in harsh environment. Price, it is going to be to the same extent as the first price of 80-400mm and Canon 100-400mm of Nikon.

Notice the mistakes!
Cheers Jules...

Hmmm, only 15,000 more than the 70-200mm. Looks like there will have to be a firmware upgrade on bodies for all those buttons though.

Glad I didn't buy the Canon MKII 100-400mm now
