Do the numbes in then names of Pentax lens pouches relate to the size of lens they will accommodate?

E.g. does 'S80-120' mean that it holds a lens 80mm diameter and 120mm long.

Looking at the DA lens booklet, it seems there is a relationship with the size of lens. The case length and width though seem to make allowance for the inclusion of a reversed lens hood.

I've noticed that the S number corresponds to a bit more than the diameter, but the other number is always a lot longer than the length of the lenses for which the cases are recommended.
