Excellent composition nad expression. Make the most of a willing subject, I get a surly response more often than not now.

It's funny you should mention the surly response you get, Dr'.

With this image he only stuck around for so long and when asked about a different pose or location he didn't want to know and walked off. I'm not sure if this is a turning point, he has always been happy to have himself directed and photographed before now, but it was the opposite with this image.
If it is a turning point, i'll just have to offer more of a reward in future...

Those rewards could turn out to get quite expensive as he get's older. It's a lovely shot though.

Best of luck trying bribery.

There are no real photos of daughter #2 from about the age of 5 - she would hide or once her hair was long enough sit there, hunch her shoulders up and let her hair cover her face - and she's still the same some 35 years on !!
