Nice one! I had a similar idea and snapped this not long after getting up this morning... from my garden although I suspect the weather's not quite in the same league as in Jackitec's . I like the way everything is starting to change colour as Autumn sets in. This was taken with my sigma 70-300mm lens at 240mm (macro), ISO400, f18, 1/180th shutter speed, and I used the new flashgun I am experimenting with...

Here's one I took today - tough call between this and another one.

K10D and a Lensbaby using its very close up lens. It is a wet seed head in the garden - and before anyone asks only some levels applied.

Very different Mike, it's good to experiment.
This one shows the early morning mist burning off in the weak sunlight, somewhwere east of Kyle of Lochalsh this morning.

Most certainly not the most brilliant pics, but I really wanted to contribute to the World Pentax Day (great idea!). Unfortunately it was rainy during most of the day here and we were busy doing loads of other things, so the best I could do was taking a few pictures inside of some of our dogs tonight. They weren't too keen really (can't blame them). This one in particular couldn't be bothered.

And here's one very alert dog!

Hi Stefan
It has the same aliasing noticeable on the yellow lights that I mentioned on Rob's aircraft pictures. Drop the width to 800 pixels.

Oggy, Rob's aircraft photo didn't had an aliasing but a posterization problem I believe.
Also don't forget that those are sodium oxide lights and that they flicker

Dan it seems you're the only one with the problem though, I'm very sorry for that
3.216 x 1.317 pixels btw... better could have used a more normal resolution, I can't change it now though
Forgot to say that there are very good photos for today, you had some good weather in the UK (and Spain) it seems. We had rain though

Well lidy aliasing & resolution is a part of digital photography right?
Trouwens, in welk gedeelte van ons kikkerlandje woon je?
Niet zo fotografische vraag ik weet het.

Stefan, I don't think we should communicate in Dutch here. I'm quite willing to answer your question - ask me again, either by PM or in a different part of the forum.
And I know resolution and whatever is part of photography, but I didn't think this topic was the right place to discuss it. I may be wrong of course!
Now, can we see some more pictures taken on World Pentax Day please?
