No more than about £2. Check the voltage with a multimeter before fitting it to your hotshoe (some old flashes have massive trigger voltages). If it offers manual control then yes, it'll be useable - just don't expect any form of automation or convenience.

thanks for that ! The dedication module looks rather clever, does Canikon and Minolta too ! Fill in flash built in and manual too, I believe ! Quite a beast !! Asking £15 for it

The dedication module will almost certainly be for TTL operation (which your K10D doesn't have - hence it's of no use). Full manual control *is* useful as that makes it useable on pretty much any camera made in the last half-century (and a lot before) if you don't mind doing your own settings. If the head is of the tilt/swivel variety (allowing you to adjust the direction of the light) then maybe £15 isn't such a bad price after all...

I used to have one of these, it dates back to the early 80's. The dediciation is simply shutter speed synchronisation, not TTL. I used it with a ME Super.
It was a pretty high specification flash at the time; 3 auto settings as well as manual, with push/pull zoom, tilt and swivel head and secondary fill in flash. If my memory serves me correct it gave pretty consistent results.
The 3 automatic settings should be useable as well as manual mode.
I read somewhere that the trigger voltage was around 5.9 volts, but please do not take my word for that.
As for price I sold mine a couple of years ago for approx £25

It actually looks quite a useful piece of kit so perhaps £25 isn't far off the mark this time either. Good luck bidding

Thanks for that guys ! He says he's used it on modern Nikon DSLRs, so should be fine trigger voltage wise See if I get it !?

If you paid 15 quid for that I think you've done well but measure the voltage. I have a small Hannimex and it's 300v plus - chip shop time I think.

If it's designed to work on Canon, Noikon, Minolta and Pentax + Standard ??, I think it should be ok but I will check anyway (lots of meters as electronics engineer

Anyone have a User Manual for this ? Will gladly refund postage for a photocopy, or maybe just pics of important pages by email ??

Got it and it works fine ! quite a beast
Voltage wise gives 11V on Pentax setting but 6V on Standard ! not sure why !? As a comparison my af200Sa gives 7.7V and my af200afg gives 3.1V.
More useless info.
Now back to playing
