i bought this lens when i had a film camera off a local dealer took it back the following day for my money back the quailty of the glass was very very poor

Tried it on my MZ-7 and it wont fit

See the plastic hood inside the aperture leaver, this stops the lens fitting k mount. Carefully snap it off with pliers, thats what Ive done before on similar lenses.

It's odd though. After all, what use is a K mount lens that doesn't fit on a K mount?

Some of the vivitars have the same issue. They fit older k mounts like the ME and MX etc but the newer ones from I think the MZ onwards are slightly shallow compared to older mounts.
Just one of those oddities from previous third party mounts...
