Considering these have been taken in sunlight, they look pretty good to me! Ie, the colours have not been burnt out.
No 5 may have benefited from a higher aperture (lower f number) in order to soften the background more.

These are very nice John, as Andy says nothing is burned out and that's quite difficult in bright sunlight.
My preference would have been to isolate the main subject more with either a darker background or a longer lens and a more diffused backdrop, but this is a personal preference on how I like to photograph flowers and not any criticism of your shots. Number 6 illustrates what I mean, this for me is the best combination of subject and background.
They are all also very sharp / well focussed and colours are bright and natural without being over-saturated.

Everyone has, rightly, commented about the detail not being blown (difficult). They are all standard 'portraits' of the bloom concerned. The Tamron ought to be able to focus in quite tightly on individual details - many of which are fascinating, visually (poppy centres being a case in point). It's a whole new technique that can produce remarkable images - which is in no way meant to denigrate these, which are very well done.

As has been said. All very sharp and to the point. I would suggest one thing. Compositionally if you had just moved them off centre a bit, up, down, left or right. (Rule of thirds) I would have liked them more.
CHEERS Vic.

Born again biker with lots of Pentax bits. Every day I wake up is a good day. I'm so old I don't even buy green bananas.

Thanks for your comments, all, which are duly noted. I agree that the background is a bit intrusive in some - I need to be more aware of that (and the compositional aspect) when focusing on the main subject. Could also have gone in closer on the poppies to see what that produced. But generally pleased with the sharpness and exposure.
Thanks again,
Thanks again,
John
