G'day Kevin, and welcome. You've already noticed that teh Pentax systems are nice and clean, and lately at high ISOs also. The lenses are great too. Look forward to seeing some posts and images from you when you've had a look around.

Hello Kevin,
welcome. I hope you enjoy your time here. I think you will find that we are, on the whole, a friendly, helpful lot.
Just along the road from Pentax USA then? Do they have an outlet store .

Welcome Kevin. Do post some photos and be sure to join in the forum. Great to meet another satisfied Pentax user. I also have a K20D and love it to bits.
Once more, welcome to the fold.
Cheers,

Hopefully you will never have to take advantage of the repair facility.
Sad that there is only one store stocking Pentax in Colorado.
I didn't really think they would have an outlet store.

Hey Peter, I do see better performance at higher iso's on the K-x but I see better detail and resolution on the K20D. The K-X is an amazing little camera!!
No Doubt Gwyn!!!

I shoot with the K20D and K-x and yes I have one of the other guys cameras as well Canon 7D (mostly for sport shooting)
I move from the Sony only system due to personal feelings about the company (not the product).
I must say I have found myself shooting more with the K20D and I really like the results, one thing I see is when shooting in higher ISO's the images seem to clean up better than what I am use to. All in All very nice system and wow lenses galore..
See YA
