A walk up Bowfell in early July which started in low cloud which lifted just as we reached the top and lovely sunshine to finish. K70 + DA 16-85. All comments welcome.

Simply beautiful scenery, nicely composed and captured - your images do make me yearn to be back in the Lake District

Beautiful landscape, beautiful pictures. No. 3 seems to jump out in 3-D, possibly because the people give a sense of scale.

Thanks, both. John, I know just what you mean by "yearn to be back" - I usually go walking up there a couple of times a year with an old school pal, but this was the first time in almost two years. We didn't realise until we were there just how much it means to us to keep going back!

Meant to comment on these earlier as they brought back memories from a very long time ago.

Lovely set , showing off what to me is my favourite part of the Lake District and one of the most beautiful landscapes in the whole of the UK.

Cheers for showing these.

These do justice to the scale of the place! Well done for getting up there too.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Thanks, David. I hope to have a few more years “getting up there”, even if it takes longer than it used to!
