I think it's size A6, which I found too small. Ended up getting a Trust 7300 (A4) for around £90

I would go for Wacom though, they have a good name and you don't need batteries in the pen or anything, very nice to work with them.

What you find big or small is a personal thing, it's the same thing with drawing. I really don't use big movements and all so an A6 is fine for me but just a size larger A5 might be better for most users but that's something you need to find out.

The one you linked to now are the new series you might find a good deal at the bamboo series before that.
Maybe even an intuos 3, that's the pro series of yesterday.

Bamboo Fun nut not the one you see on their site but this one with the 5 round buttons.

You might need to look hard though so maybe not worth the effort but you can always try.
They come in 2 sizes (A6/small - A5/medium) and 4 colours, white ,red, blue and black so out of my head.

Yep that's one
But that one is an A5-medium and the one in your first link is an A6-small, just in case you didn't notice.
I believe it came with a mouse and pen and I don't see the mouse on the ebay link.

Here is the complete package link

Bought my daughter for Xmas2008 an Wacom Bamboo Fun 'small'(with 5 circles) from PCWorld.
Cost approx £60.00 at the time - it is on the small side but what you have never had you never miss - my being made redundant at the time limited choice.
It came with PS Elements 6 & something called Artrage plus some other Bamboo stuff for writing signatures etc.
My daughter has done some great Manga art stuff & I use the Elements plus Camera Raw for experimenting with my RAW output. Not bad all in.
The latest ones come with a later Elements I believe.

That looks like a very good price, Emms. I had/have one and really enjoyed using it: excellent for precise selections, which is kind of what you're lookimg for, I guess. My software or cable went wrong and it stopped working and I never bothered to replace it. I just manage with a mouse now.

Did you get one of those as well?

Andrew
Best wishes,

Andrew

I have the Intuos 3 from Wacom, it's an A5 wide & is usually a little too large so needs larger sweeps of the hand. The extra size however is great for intricate work. The bamboo looks great, & if I was buying again I'd probably save money & go for the largest Bamboo. It has half the pressure levels I believe but I don't think I'd notice the difference to be honest.

I'd love a 21" Cintiq VIDEO HERE but cannot justify the cost.

Very wise, Ems,

To be honest, these things are mainly of use in graphics and design work. They're not essential to photogrphers and I certainly wouldn't want to splurge a fortune on one. Lenses are much more important!

Regards,

A.

P.S. You'll probably need a mouse as well, won't you!?!
Best wishes,

Andrew

It's a Trust A5 Tablet, measures 140 x 100 mm. Got to Amazon and search for Trust tablet, it's fairly obvious which one by the price
