got trouble with my mz 60

hi folks could anyone help me with a problem with my mz60 when i switch it on av keeps flashing and it wont take a photo or for that matter do anything can anyone help please

Is the aperture ring on the lens set correctly to "A"? Or is the camera trying to tell you that the Aperture value is incorrect?

thanks for the reply the ring is at22 does that make sense cos i havent a clue

Some Pentax bodies are unable to use the aperture ring on lenses, and if the MZ60 is one of them then the lens needs to be set on "A". If there is no A setting on the aperture ring, the lens is an M or K lens that is not compatible.
