Wonderful shot RR.
We have two pairs of robins in our garden. They seem to live on opposite sides and occasionally chase each other away. It is great how they come so close when we are gardening.

1/30th is pushing it at 118mm I think ! I captured a few more interesting poses but they were, lets say "less sharp" I was able to steady myself on the gate this little fella was perched on for this one.I was going to say it could use a bit more DOF to get more of the tail and feet in focus. Then I looked at the EXIF data. ISO 800, f4, and 1/30th/sec.

ISO 800 is really pushing it for me as I hate digital noise, I've tried to take it easy on the noise reduction to keep some detail in the feathers, bit of a balancing act.
