Gorillapod

I am after a Goirillapod - and probably the SLR Zoom version which will support up to 3000g according to Joby.

SLR Zoom

I have found that ASDA sell a FujiFilm Flexi II Gorilla Tripod which they claim will support 3000g too.

It is remarkably similar and the FujiFilm website for the UK lists two Gorillapods. So, I believe that they are real items at silly prices - the small is normally around £20, the SLR £35 and SLR Zoom £45.

However, checking the Joby website suggests that the SLR version will only support 800g not 3000g.

So, which is the one in ASDA?

When you look at the SLR-zoom version you see that the tripod-mount is directly connected to the 3 legs.
With the SLR version you have 2 joints between the tripod-mount and the legs, hopefully that tells you enough since I can't say anything for certain.

Must admit I'm confused. The Gorillapod does not come with a tripod head. It would make the Fuji version very cheap if it does!

Ah - I've got the SLR Zoom which is why I didn't get a head with mine.
