Nowadays, it would be unwise to dismiss G+. The more you use it, the more you realize how Google has made it very friendly for photographers.
Of course, in 2013, you can't be on just one social network. For maximum exposure, you'll need to have:
1. Facebook Page
2. Google+ Page
3. Twitter Feed
4. Blog (part of your website?)
Social Media is a job unto itself if taken seriously! Good thing is, the hard work is the main investment, you could actually do a lot without paying for anything (except for internet access and electricity of course).

I use FB and Twitter for my job regularly....hmmm twitter would be too hard to get visibility, I would drop it right away.
Facebook...a page could work with some hard work, maybe.
I am going to try google+, but so far the experience is not so good, it is very not intuitive and they removed some useful functionalities (I had to delete all my old albums ONE BY ONE, DAMN!)

Google plus is just another Facebook. To me it's like using Linux or Mac instead of windows. What's the point?
Frankly I'm not a fan of monopolies per se, but sometimes like in the case of Facebook or windows, then it's kind of a benign monopoly which you're doing yourself down by not participating in.

As far as printers go, in the UK I use Loxley Colour, or for cheaper prints D S Colour Labs. I only use DS Colour Labs if I have the print sent to me first, as I have had the occasional one come out with the colour a bit wrong; I have had two mono prints from them with a colour cast. In the States I use a company in Seattle, The Color Group.
