I'm off to New York in a couple of weeks... and I've just decided which lens to use for the walkabout stuff .

I tried that with my kit lens taped to 31mm once. Spent a day thinking it wasn't the right field of view for anything I saw irrespective of zooming with my feet. Saved a great deal of money

Good stuff K10, you could ship some of that sun out to the UK, put some garden furniture out and it's rained ever since.

It's actually the Dutch flag , probably some Dutch travellers claiming sovereignty over WA after reading that Dutchmen found it 100 years before Captain Cook "discovered" Australia.

If it's bright, then this 21mm makes an ideal std lens for street work.
