Wheatfields like these are probably not far short of being worth their weight in gold at the moment.
K1 and DFA*85mm using HDR for a change, Vibrant/MIYABI, no filters used. Today's short walk thankfully, the gear was heavy, except for this first one rest were held on a monopod/walking stick.

4. This field has a slope and is a straight pic.

#3 for me. I like the sky, (looks brooding), plus the way you've 'placed' the trees works well. They're all good though, but #3 has that 'something'.

#4 makes my eyes go out of focus! I like #3 but I would choose #1 for the rusty old whatever-it-is in the foreground. (There does seem to be a halo around the trees.)

Not usually my sort of thing but have to say I enjoyed the whole set - with no.1 being outstanding, the colour effect from the filter really hits the spot- rusty, golden, and brooding greys

Smashing composition on the first one.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
