Making more of the "rusty rollers".

To make more of the rusty rollers as mentioned by Flan in the Gallery, also named as "old junk" by SWMBO I went back (with K1 dfa 28-105 and DA* 11-18mm ) and took pictures with wider lens. Apologies for more wheat fields in HDR.

Why apologise? Great to see these, with their subtly different compositions and tones - difficult to pick a favourite as they each have elements that I like. No.1 for the overall look and composition maybe just edges no.5 which has a great look and warmth of tone in the wheat - Keep 'em coming

Despite my suggestion about the rusty rollers being made more use of its no.5 also for me as you have captured a beautiful foreground with lots of detail and a slightly lone tree against the changeable cloud sky.
I like no.4 for the inclusion of the rollers especially when viewed large. NB, everyones opinions will vary and that's what makes things interesting

What LennyB says. Really great work here. Isn't that 28-105 a fabby lens? Love mine.
Be well, stay safe, but most of all, invest in memories

I like the 2nd one because it's a really well balanced image that is satisfying to look at.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Interesting different rusty gadget in #3 but #1 is my choice here.

+1, the slightly less HDR also works for better for me.

All are fantastic... but I especially like No3!

Thank you all for the comments, and Davidwozhere for pointing out it's Barley - whoops.

It certainly is a good lens, and very handy being light and a zoom.
