Some other forums have already such topic, not here so hence my question;
what would your next photographic trip be?

Maybe it can sparkle some ideas, meets or interest to go out and shoot.

Tomorrow I'm home alone and the weather seems to be pretty good.
I'm think of going to make an hike here in de Biesbosch.
It's a one of the last freshwater tide here in Europe,
you're free to meet up with me

What are you planning to do?

In three weeks I have a week in the lake district. Hopefully by then it will have stopped raining. Looking forward to using my 12-24mm properly for the first time.

Unfortunately, even if I leave home right away, I won't be able to make it on time.

I've just had a look at the information site for de Biesbosch, you could take some better pictures for them Stefan. That aside it looks like a very interesting place to visit. I am heading of to the our local nature reserve, that is if I can see anything in the fog.

Well the trip is postponed to tomorrow because my father wanted to do something today so you can still make it

Still like you said it's an interesting place, also the city Dordrecht is if you want it can be a nice weekend away.

What's the name of the reserve near you?
And fog can be a major feature in your photos you know.

If the weather's OK then I'm going to put my new suspension set-up to the test. It's taken me a couple of weeks to get it all settled in and I reckon the car should now stick to the road like a limpet.

If I happen to end up somewhere picturesque then I may even rattle a few shots off too...

We did leg 9 of the Hertfordshire Way from Shenley to Cuffley. Rather damp grey day so although I did take photos I won't be winning any awards.

It could be argued the the nature reserve near me is the whole of the Northumbria link it is on of the most sparsely populated counties in England. The actual bit I went to yesterday is called Hauxley Nature Reserve. This area was once given over to coal mining, when the mines were closed it was designated as a country park and now has very diverse wetland habitat. We still have one open cast mine apparently the biggest in Europe (I'm willing to be put right one that one !) near by link

Unfortunately the fog had the remaining rain that did not fall on the NW UK and I did not want to destroy my new lens' on the first day out , even the wildlife had decided to go somewhere dryer.

Graham, sad to hear that the fog was to wet so to say, bt it wasn't that bad that I hear from Aiki.
Better luck next time since it looks like a nice hike.

Anyone had a lot of problems with the rain?

That's interesting Sandy, hopefully it comes together nicely.
