Getting my eyes jet washed.......

Well not quite.

I have however been given a new PC with a Dell Ultrasharp monitor at work.

I have now looked at some of the photographs that I have produced on this monitor.

I had never before realised just how important a decent monitor is. Its obvious of course but low on the list of my priorities.

I have been using my little netbook acer for my photo development for years.

Tonight I have mugged my kids for their hi-ish specked HP laptop.

They are happy with the portability, ease of used access to facebot or whatever, and I am seeing the output from my K7 for the first time!

Not quite the Dell Ultrasharp (and I amd sure there are much better)

But

Win win all round for me.

and my eyes feel clean.

It's always tempting to spend money on the headline products such as cameras and lenses, but that monitor is indeed critical as well.

Now that you can see your images is it back to Photoshop for some of them?
Best regards, John

John,

That would be the obvious choice, and I will be doing that, probably all night!, however, I am also looking forward to seeing those that I have yet to take and those taken just recently and yet to be viewed...

such as....link

A new lens and a new monitor and I almost feel re-born!!
