Getting a lens fixed.

Hello

I have recently been travelling for 5 weeks and after all the back packing the only casualty is regrettably my 28-80mm standard lens, which i use a lot with all my Pentax SLR's.
It's so loose it can hardly focus.

My question is, how do i go about getting this fixed? Do i just hope to get a new one for christmas or send it off. I hear London Camera Exchange is not so good for repairs as it costs a small fortune, but that's all i know about, people tend to turn their noses up now when it comes to film cameras.

I am a student and living on a budget, i don't expect it to be cheap but i'm not made of money.

Thanks in advance.
Rosie.
