Agreed - # 3 is a stunner And this is me that usually doesn't like monochrome shots
proud owner of a couple of cameras and a few bits and bobs
Well done.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I also really like 5 and 6.
7 I think is a bit too dark and the stars don't lift it enough.
1 and 2 I think I'd prefer without the fountain. That building is pretty special as it is.
Makes a change me giving you c&c eh, dr?
Apart from those I can see this as a large print in a slightly dark hallway. It has great atmosphere.
Davex.

1 and 4 for me, though I do like #5 as well.
However I really like the rest of the set, especially #1,2,5 & 6. If I had to choose then #5 after PPing out the cables would be my winner.

I've taken the liberty of straightening the verticals for you. Do you like it now?

Baby gone with the bathwater now
Yes I like it much more now ... except for the missing spire & pathways of course, obviously the act of straightening it means we've lost those.
When using a 10-20 you always need to allow plenty of extra 'crop space' around the subject as you'll lose a lot in processing.
